Only light-duty maintenance was to be performed on the ceiling of this natatorium, but the owner would not allow the contractor to drain the pool. To meet this requirement, York Scaffold Equipment Corp. used aluminum shoring trusses to span the width of the pool and create a base upon which the supported scaffolding could be erected.
